The Jungle Inca Trail to Machupicchu,This is a new Combination, between a Down Hill Mountain Bike Tour and a Jungle Trekking to Machupicchu, there are lots of travelers that are getting this option becouse it is one of the peru jungle tours

Day 1:
We will pick up early in the morning and driven through the stunning Sacred Valley, cradle of the Inca civilization, we will go by car until 4,316 m.a.l.s this place is called Abra Malaga. after that we will down by car until San Luis which bikers will change in to the kit provided by us (gloves and helmets) following a 5 minute briefing by our professional tour guide. Then the fun will begin until the first pit stop in Alfamayo , Here you can enjoy our lunch , while taking in the endless panoramas. After a quick change and a dab of insect repellant, it is onwards and downwards towards Huamanmarca, site of a recently discovered archaeological Inca finding. Our tour guide will provide the historical background and you can take some pictures of this the rest you can fill in for yourselves! Carry on descending to 1500 meters, while the jungle´s edge rears up and the small but charming town of Santa Maria looms on the horizon. Enjoy a cold beer before dinner- traditional Peruvian food, served hot. This night you can have a hot shower at a family run hostel and sleep in either single, double or three bed rooms. . |

Day 2:
Around at 5.30am or 6:00 am, enjoy the breakfast coffee full of vitamins .- based on bananas, oranges, papayas in the region (juices). early exit in treking looking for an unforgettable adventure.Under dawn skies you will begin your walk around 1 ½ hrs. Approximately up to the highest poin where we can admire the entire valley and the slopes of the canyon and you can relax in hammocks, we will walk trails filled with vegetation, where we can appreciate the cultivation and harvesting of coffee as well as the sacred plant of the Inka COCA . Take on refreshments while being entertained by the family monkey. After a short while you will reach the real Inca Trail, which winds around precipitous slopes and sheer drops for approximately half a mile. Be warned this is not for people who suffer from vertigo! The descent continues for just over two hours until you reach Qellomayo, a little town , where you will have lunch. Make sure you have saved enough energy for the final stretch, a riverside walk beside the Rio Vilcanota until reaching the delicious hot springs Colcamayo that is repared until august. Rejuvinate in the heavenly hot waters and forget your weary wake in these natural settings. Fully replenished, you will find the final stretch to Santa Teresa. Here you should sleep well in the family homestead after dinner. |

Day 3:We will wake at 7:30 am aproximately and have a delitious breakfast started to walk in search of the suspension bridges as well as cross the Vilcanota River (River sacred to the Incas) through a oroya., we will find waterfalls from glaciers see also coca and coffee plantations we test our adventure and adrenaline, this is one of the most exciting and fun. We may enjoy the wide variety of butterflies, parrots, birds, insects - also visit Inti Watana (Solar clock).Reaching where we take lunch Hydroelectric after continue walking to
the base town for Machu Picchu. after that we will walk until to arrive to aguas calientes and we will have dinner at a local restaurant before retiring to your hostel with hot water and private bathrooms.

Day 4:
An early rise today, as you will take the first bus to Machu Picchu at 5.30am, reaching Machu Picchu at 6am, which with luck will coincide with a beautiful sunrise! Our guide will leave no stones unturned but feel free to challenge their knowledge of Inca history. Afterwards you have free time to dally with the llamas and show off your photographic skills. Those who still have the will can tackle Huaynapicchu, which actually looks down on Machu Picchu. A frequent bus service takes visitors back to Aguas Calientes, where you will catch the train to Ollantaytambo and then the bus to Cusco. |
