Peru's Inca Trail is perhaps the world's greatest hike because it combines the best of both types of travel: a four days walk to the spectacular Inca's path that winds through the zone where the snowcapped Andes Mountains crash into the lush Amazon jungle, creating some of the world's most dramatic and beautiful terrain.

Experience this majestic archaeological site by taking the 4 days and 3 nights Inca Trail hike. From the Sacred Valley, through the forests and mountain passes of the Andes, this most famous of Incan trails arrives at the aptly named Sun Gate for a sunrise viewing of Machu Picchu with planty of time to explore the ruins before returning to Ollantaytambo by train and Cusco. With permits in high demand and always sold out months in advance

Day 1: Between 7:00 - 8:00 am we pick you up at your hotel and go to km 82 (the starting point of the trek) by bus via Chincheros,Sacred valley of the incas,Ollantaytambo. From here on it will take us about 7 hours of hiking (13 km) to reach the first campsite in Huayllabamba. where we’ll set up camp the camp for the night
Day 2: Physically a tough day: 16 km and climbing 2 high passes. Warmi Wañusca, with its 4200 mts, is the hightest point of the trek. Breathtaking and stunning Included is a visit to the ruins of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca. we have a spectacular view of the Andes before beginning the descent to camp in Pacaymayo.
Day 3:Today is a relatively easy one: we walk only 11 km and most of the route is flat and descending, meanwhile visiting the archaeological sites of Phuyupatamarca, Intipata and Wiñaywayna, the latter being our last campsite of the trek.
Day 4: After breakfast, We start hiking early towards Inti Punku, the entrance of the old Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. where we have a spectacular panoramic view, it is an unforgettable experience observing the ruins from that point. In Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour of approx. 2 hours and in the afternoon we will get back to Cusco by train. Arrival time in Cusco is estimated around 22.00pm.

Note:Train included in all tours is the Expedition Train (to/from Ollanta)it could be changed If you tell us in advance, the train can be upgraded to Vistadome (larger windows than the Expedition train ) requested as well

*Sleeping bag $20 for all trek.

*To qualify as a student, it is necessary to have a valid ISIC card, scan and email us at the time of booking.pay $ 30 less.

*Decide whether or not you want an extra porter who would carry your personal belongings (the price of this service is $120). (Please note, you can also share one porter between two people - up to 7 kilos each – costing $60 each.)

*An Aguas Calientes overnight can be booked for those who want to stay an extra day. Prices vary from $ 40 till $ 500.

This gives you the opportunity to return to the ruins and visit Huayna Picchu the next day If you wish to go back to the Machu Picchu ruins, you will have to pay your entrance fee again USD60 (Include Machu Picchu entrance plus Huayna Picchu) the first one was included in the Inca Trail Excursion.

Also if you are planning to visit Huayna Picchu on this Inca Trail,since 6 months ago it has new regulation by the INC and it has an extra cost adding USD 60 per person. if you would like to book the entrance ticket to this place that is also included another Machu Picchu entrance on the last day please let us know .
